Ear clogged / ringing/ face numb

I am a 52 year old Male. I have had facial (left side only) numbness and my left ear clogged and or ringing for about two years now. The numbness is exactly split on my nose and wraps all the way around to the back of my head. It goes down to my jaw and up to the top of my forehead. It comes and goes, sometimes it is just constant. I thought that root canals in two rear teeth were causing this as I have had similar symptoms from root canal problems. I have had both teeth removed because of this but the symptoms still persist. I have had and MRI, been scoped by an ENT and am now scheduled to see a Neurologist. What in the world could this be?
