Ear infection?

Hi.  I found out I have little allergies due to grass.  I have a issue with my left ear.  When I yawn, the feeling you get in your ears when you yawn lasts a little longer after I yawn.  Loud noises make a fuzzy-like sound in my ear and I can hear my swollow on and off on my left ear, sometimes the swollow sound is delayed.  Anyways, my doctor said I have "snot" in my ear.  I guess the slight allergies caused this.  So I was prescribed Nasonex, used it up, but still have that ear problem.  Anything I can do?
