I had an acoustic trauma to my right ear 8 months ago when a motorcycle rushed passed me on the street with no muffler (extremely loud and grinding). Ever since then my ear has not returned to a normal relaxed state. I have been to my ENT and they said my hearing was good in that ear. I complained to them that the ear is extremely sensitive to hard loud noises like pots and pans. They just said I have good hearing. But my ear was never like this before.
Is this condition normal after very loud noise exposures? What can I expect since it is very traumatizing?
