Electronic noises in right ear

Around 10pm 3 days ago I realized a noise in my right ear. It sounds like a dial-up connection on the computer, always playing one note, and switching to a higher note then going back down. I thought it was my wireless configuration I had installed a bit ago, but I hear it everywhere I go when noise is not overwhelming it. I found that when completely silent, the tone stays the same, so perhaps one of the hairs in my ear is off tone which gives me the weird sound? About 2 days before this happened I have been taking Nasonex (nasal spray) and Zytyec (10 mg, once a day) from the doctor, if that could cause anything. Thanks in advance!
