Hi Ralph please write me. Here in the states doctors do not believe you can have an over growth of candida throughout your body and don't think it can happen in your ears - at least not the ones I have seen. I have asked them to prescribe a pill for yeast infection but they act like they don't know what I'm talking about. PLEASE please tell me the name of this pill. I have long suspected it to be a yeast infection. I have had so many years of this wet itchiness besides other aliments. I'm so frustrated. I have really given up on docs. They have yet to really cure anything just prolong the misery with drugs that hide the symptoms.....Please help. Thanks.
I have never tried aloe vera. But I have tried Hydrogen Peroxide. I have to say it really does not help with the itch or draining. I am going to try the tea tree oil and see if it helps.
I am a vegan who never eats ice cream and such... I do juice fasts and have eliminated just about every food at times... so I do not think my ear itch has anything to do with food. It is an infection or fungus of some sort that is just hard to get rid of.
Same problem here. Has anyone tried aloe vera or hydrogen peroxide?
I tolerated ithcy wet scaly ears for several years and tried almost all of the medications folks have listed here (except pet products) with no relief and no change in my condition.
I have the answer now! Protandim super effective antioxidant. Visit my website and place an order you will be very happy you did.

I have the exact same problem. I used to wear silicon earplugs because my boyfriend snores like a chainsaw. I stopped wearing them, hoping my ears would heal. Since then I've had two ear external infections which I treated with prescribed drops. After the drops were gone, the itching came back. I itch my ears constantly. It keeps me awake at night. I've tried cortisone but it doesn't help much. I tried putting a small amount of dandruff shampoo in my ears, as suggested by my doctor, but that doesn't help either. She also said to try athelete's foot cream in case it's fungal. That's my next plan. However, I've read online that olive oil and tea tree oil can help. I hope at least one of these remedies will help me and also all of you.
