Everything is muffled in my right ear and I don't know why.

I'm 18 years old and I had a huge allergy flare up after going on a cruise to Mexico with my sister. I was flying home after the cruise and it was horrible. I have never liked flying when my allergies are this bad because my ears always pop and feel sore. When I got off the plane my right ear wouldn't pop no matter what I did. It's been almost a week since then and my hearing is still really muffled in that ear. When I lay down I can pop it but it's always temporary- it only lasts a few seconds before the fullness comes back. I am going to college in a few days and I really need to figure out what's wrong. Thank you!
