Furry tongue, white coating and tonsil stones

Hi,

I have a problem that is killing me. My tongue does always feel dirty and I am cleaning it two times a day, every morning and every evening. I get tonsil stones and I have popped out very many of them. If I squeeze my tonsils there will always come white mucus out of them, or a tonsil stone... I constantly feel that there is something stuck in my throat, which are tonsil stones that I haven't gotten out yet because I can't find them no matter how much I push on my tonsils.

I am not sure if I am suffering from post nasal drip but every time I eat junk food or just food that contains much dairy I will have to clear my throat constantly approximately 20 minutes after I have eaten the food.

Here is a picture of my disgusting mouth (click on the image to zoom in): http://i.imgur.com/x0PQcKa.jpg

Did your problem ever go away?! How did you fix It? I've seen 2 ENTs and they all tell me just to live with it, but the irritation is so annoying! Please help!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello there,
These symptoms could also be due to any infection or due to tonsilloliths, also known as tonsil stones which are clusters of calcified material that form in the crevices of the tonsils. These are trapped rotting food in mucus. Tonsilloliths cause bad breath, sore throat, white debris, difficulty in swallowing and tonsillar swelling. You’re your symptoms it seems you are suffering from tonsilloliths . In the meantime try salt water gargles. You may try using chlorhexidine mouth wash it has antibacterial properties but prolonged use may cause temporary staining of the mouth and tongue. It is best to see an ENT surgeon and take treatment for tosillolith. If the tonsil stones are exceedingly large and symptomatic, it may be necessary for a surgeon to remove them. Consult an ENT specialist for correct diagnosis and treatment.
Best luck and regards!
