Geographic Tongue/Burning Mouth

I was recently diagnosed with Geographic Tongue. It can be painful at times. I was given Kenalog in Orabase to treat my mouth. Two days after I stopped the medicine, I began having terrible burning on my tongue and the roof of my mouth. Is it possible this was caused by the Kenalog, even though it was an anti-inflammatory? Is it possible it will stop once the Kenalog cycles out of my system?

Has anyone heard of using crushed acidopholis tablets for this?
