I recently had another thyroid ultasound and a nodule that was measured at 3cm 3 years ago is now measuring 5 by 5 by 2 cm. All thyroid labs are normalNormal saline flush, and it was FNAd 3 years ago and determined to be benignBenign ear cyst or tumor Benign positional vertigo. It has been recommended to me to have it surgically removed. I was told thyroid hormone therapy would probably do nothing to shrink a nodule of this size. Do you agree surgery is the best alternative at this point? I just don't want to have unnecessary surgery.
