Head pain and squealing

Head pain and squealing

For two years I have had recurring episodes of severe pain behind my eyebrows and forehead lasting from one hour to several hours. Over half of these episodes end suddenly with an audible squeal; air releasing from a sinus cavity I suppose. Normal CT and x-Rays. GP, ENT, and Allergist have prescribed Flonase, Rinocort, pain meds, and OTC allergy meds. Still getting the episodes. Anyone heard of this? I'm Desperate for help.

I've had a sinus infection for the past week and the last two days I've experienced similar episodes -- it really hurts!! I've never had a migraine but I imagine this is on that level, extremely uncomfortable, even for someone with a fairly high threshold for pain. One thing I've found that helps is to irrigate my nasal passages with a Neti pot (using purified water mixed with Kosher salt).
