Here is my stituation

Ok, here's a little background -- About two years ago, I had a case of Mono. After about 3 months of having it, my doc noticed my tonsils were "freakishly enormous." They sent me to an ENT and he said they're just large. Then about 10 months after that I had Mono, again (monospot test came back positive again.) Since then I've had strep throat 4 times. Also, i have a very hard time "popping" my ears... equalizing the pressure so to say. My right ear constantly feels "full". However, it doesn't affect my hearing. I have hearing tests done once a year for my job and they're all the same.

Can my large (by large, I mean, on a normal day with out being sick or anything, they're about a quarter inch from touching and some mornings my uvula is stuck... yes stuck... behind them) be causing my eustachian tubes to be blocked or pressed closed?

Should I have my tonsils removed? (that's something I'm more than willing to persue if it may help)
