How long does Geographic Tongue last for in terms of months/years? Is it something that eventually goes away? Or do you have this the rest of your life?

But the cause of geographic tongue is unknown, and there's no way to prevent the condition. And also genetics may be a contributing factor. So, the condition resolves on its own and has an unpredictable course.
