Hey I just got back from the ENT and he said that I have developed a hypersensitive ear. On my caloric test one ear came back with a number around 30 and the other was like 43. He said normal is 30. This is causing my balance system to put out more info then what it really should which makes me imbalanced all the time. He has me trying out promethazine to correct it. I have been dealing with this for about a year and a half now. It was managable for awhile, but has gotten worse again recently to where I can't get out of bed sometimes. Has anyone else heard of this or dealt with this before. My dr. said that there is a physician out in San Antonio that has had a lot of luck dealing with this problem. Thanks.
