I keep choking

Hello, just looking for a little advice. I'm 33 years old without any previous serious medical conditions. Non Smoker.

In the last 6 months, I have found that i regularly choke on my food. Usually on a daily basis, sometimes more than once a day. It seems to be getting worse as time goes by too.

Tonight it took a good 2-3 mins to dislodge the food and its really scary when it happens.

Certain food seem to cause problems more than others too, potatoes in any form being a major culprit.

Looking for a bit of advice before i go see my GP.

My advice would be to consult your GP.  Sounds like something GI.  I am not sure if your GP can order a swallow evaluation/Barium Swallow.
