Went to the doctor and they examined my ears. Both ears had a lot of wax in them, so they flushed them both. That seemed to help a little, but I still couldn't hear well at all out of the left ear. The doctor gave me a prescription for Sudafed, because she said the problem was that my Eustachian tubes were filled. That was on Sunday. It's now Wednesday. I've been taking the Sudafed every six hours, not including waking up to take it in the middle of the night, and I still can't hear that well out of it. To give you an example of how well I can hear, if you take your fingers and rub them together right in front of your ear, it sounds kind of papery, and is very audible. I can hear that very well out of my right ear, but almost not at all in my left ear. Any ideas?
Also, I can hear stuff that happens to/inside my head VERY well. For instance, when I shower, I can hear the water hitting my head really loudly with my left ear. Also, when I brush my teeth with my electric toothbrush, I can hear it really loudly in my left ear when I brush my teeth on the top because of the vibration to my upper jawbone.
