The left side of my neck is swollen significantly more than the right side. It has been this way for almost 3 years.
There is no pain. I went to my ENT 3 weeks ago and he believes it could be a blocked or obstructed salivary gland.
After a CT scan he did not see anything that caused concern (tumor) and he asked if I wanted it removed. I said that if he was sure that is the problem, then yes, I would like it removed. I am scheduled for surgery next week..
My question is regarding pain: Wouldn't I have significant pain if the salivary pain if it was simply a blocked salivary gland ?
