Lost Sense of Smell

I have lost my sense of smell.  Mid August, I had a 3 day mild fever with sore throat.  It turned into a headcold or flu, and I ended up on anitbiotics to get fluid out of my ears.  I am still having alot of sinus drainage, and have lost my sense of smell which is affecting my ability to taste things.
Any idea what this is?  Will my sense of smell come back?  I take no medications and my doctor considers me to be a healthy 60 year old woman.

The sinus drainage can affect your sense of smell and taste. Try a saline solution for your nose and see if that helps it drain faster. If it continues please see your regular doctor.
