I am a singer and I've noticed a lump in throat sensation (under my Adam's apple) appearing sporadically after I sing or speak for long periods of time. I'm doing a show again now and it's bothering me again. My voice still feels strong, it's just an annoying sensation. I went to an ENT about 6 months ago and he said there was some swelling and mucus on the chords so he prescribed me an antacid to take for 6 months. I stopped taking them because I took a break from the business but now I'm back to taking them; I can't go for a follow up visit until my insurance comes back in 3 months. Any other tips on how to mitigate the problem? It's very distracting. I don't think it's nodes because the doctor I saw 6 months ago saw nothing like that, and I don't have any holes in my range.
