MRSA in sinuses
I was diagnosed with MRSA  2weeks ago,I was put on Vancomycin  that is inhaled through the nose. I also have asthma.. it REALLY irriated my lungs and I coughed so much I couldn't breathe. Triggering at least 3 attacks a day. My lung function went from 85% down to below 50% using the Vanc. I was doing 3 treatments per day for 3 days.. I made it a week - ending up back at the docs office today. I have quit using it and now feeling a little better. Is anyone familiar with this problem? I will be getting some other type antiobiotic soon - it will be inhaled as well. Any comments?

I suffered through two rounds of MRSA last year.  I was put on a combination of two antibiotics to fight this, but neither were inhaled.  I'll let you know if I can find out what exactly it was that I took.
