I thought i was getting better continuing on a regiment of Vitamin C, natural honey comb, colloidal silver, royal jelly, and saline irrigation of my sinus'. Well i thought i was well on my way to recovery until yesterday/last night when my maxillary sinus REALLY freaked out. Maybe it was totally clogged? I got an amazing amount of pressure right there by my cheekbone. It was definitely intensified when i bent forward. I tapped my teeth to try and be sure i didnt have a tooth/root issue too. No pain with the teeth. I did a saline rinse, got so desperate i took some colloidal silver and snorted it! I think what finally gave me relief was taking a mucinex.
I normally try to avoid antibiotics at all costs, but with the pain last night was ready to surrender. I since have set and appointment with my dentist to help me look at it, and perhaps prescribe me some antibiotics seeing as i dont have a regular doctor or health insurance. That appointment is for tomorrow morning. Do you think i should try and wait it out some more? I feel pretty good today, but definitely have something lingering in my right maxillary sinus, with a decreased amount of mucous today. The mucous has generally been thick and yellow.
One last note, i have reason to suspect it may be fungal in nature (in which case the antibiotics wouldn't fix it?), as i suspect the apt i was staying at while away (when i got the flu and/or sinus infection) is very old and has had issues with plumbing fixtures leaking. Also i normally never have issues like this with my sinus', other than seasonal sinus irritation. Thanks in advance for your help! All comments are appreciated!
