Met with ENT - Yikes

So after 6 weeks of ringing/humming/roaring in my right ear I finally got in to see the ENT.  He didn't examine me, look in my ear, or ANYTHING.  Just referred me for an MRI.  Once that comes back then we can figure this out more -this is just to make sure there isn't anything serious.  Which, I do understand that, and am glad that I am getting an MRI, but I would have thought he would have at least checked my ear.  I mean my primary is no ENT, he could have missed anything.

I hate this.  It's so loud, and it seems like I am now having pressure often times too.

Yeah sorry, the problem is that when you 90% of the time meet ignorant MDs, you tend to get upset.   You are right, some are, if not helpful, atleast compassionate.

Come on, really?  That is a ridiculous statement.  This one guy may be an idiot.  He also may have been rushed, may have been sick, etc.  There are a lot other possibilities.  But your comment is offensive and, itself, ignorant, given that most professionals in white coats receive years of education and training.
