Mucosa damage?

Mucosa damage?

Hey there, I have recently been taking legal highs, that you snort.

I have been taking these for about 2 month now, as far as I'm aware my septum isn't damaged, it doesn't hurt and have had no nose bleeds, and no holes etc.

However, whenever I insufflate any substance now, it goes straight to the back of my throat, and basically 'Chokes' me? Activating my gag reflex to which it almost makes me vomit.

Since this, I have stopped snorting everything, but I'd like to know what could cause the substances to just go straight to my throat, making me wretch?

Thanks, Dan.
