Nasal Turbinate Surgery and Plastic Surgery

I went to the ENT yesterday.  I was told that my turbinates are blocking my airway.   They want me to see a Plastic surgeon next week to discuss nose alternations and Nasal Turbinate Reduction Surgery.   Can ANYONE who has had this done, PLEASE give me some good insite on it, like especially, did you notice a significant difference afterward, after healing and all?  Did it work?    What was the recovery like?   Etc... Whatever you want to offer on this subject.   Thanks a bunch.   Jay
