Neck pains and swollen lymphnode

I have had an on and off pain in the right side of my neck for about 3 months now. I went to the doctors and they gave me a chest xray and a sonogram of my neck...they said nothing was wrong...I thought it was a swollen lymphnode and even went to a surgeon to get a biopsy done on it....when I got there he said it wasnt even a swollen lymphnode and said it was some bone that is in the neck. It has been about a month since that appointment and now I feel a pain in the front part of my neck near the adams apple area and sometimes under my ride jaw bone.

I am really hoping someone has had this similar pain and can give me some insight on it...the doctors around here say nothing is wrong...but I feel like they might of misdiagnosed me.
