Thank you very much for your reply I guess doctors are not suggesting surgical options may be because of the malignant nature. Patient has lost lot of weight and his consultant seems helpless now and referring him here and there he has received a treatment of 300+ IV tanzo injections.

What do you suggests. Patient is willing to travel abroad if there is any need. His diet has reduce to almost nothing in a day. If you required I can forward you report we have or if you suggest some we can get it and forward it to you so you could decide whether he can receive any further help from you guy's end or it is a dead end for him now. The length of his decease is about 2 years now.

Please Advice.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi, otitis externa is inflammation of the external ear, but this does not usually affect the mastoids. The mastoids are bony tissue which is present behind the ears. When the middle ear is affected, this can sometimes spread to the mastoids. And sometimes even intracranially. The report states that the mastoid bones are involved, but it has not spread intracranially. Depending on whether there is an active infection your doctor may decide on conservative or surgical management, please discuss with him. Regards.
