Off Balance for over 3 weeks.

Hello my name is Mike and I am 28 years old and recently around New Years I started feeling kinda off balance and when standing, looking down (especially if looking down at a computer standing up) or sometime even sitting and watching tv i feel like im swaying and like the room is moving and feel like I could just fall over. I went to the Chiro 3 times to get a neck adjustment and last time it worked but this time no luck.. I used to get dizzy spells like once a month than sleep it off usually but this time it has stuck. I went to the dr and was treated with antibiotics but it didnt help at all. Any ideas? Thanks. I am also thin and I dont smoke or drink much at all.

I would be reconsulting your physician to refer you out to a specialty.

just said that i have a few spots out in my neck and took an xray but he is like really fast and just basically does quick adjustments. My spine curves pretty bad and I am also a pro wrestler for about 5 years and just retired due to these problems.

I would say it is definitely something with the cervical spine or inner ear.

I would be reconsulting your physician.

What did the Chiro say?

Do you get dizzier when you tilt your head to the side or bend over? Keep with the Chrio - I suggest trying another Chiro if it doesn't clear up. I have this issue all the time. Sometimes for weeks. It isn't serious but unsafe. Good luck! I'll check back with you...so post again if you get results.

I don't think it is anything vascular; sounds more like an inner ear issue or an issue with your spine.

It is unfortunate you can't get an MRI or imaging related to no insurance.

"Thin, don't smoke or do drugs, hardly drink, etc." doesn't mean NO issues ever will happen or it definitely CAN'T be a vascular issue.  This is something you should definitely sort out with a physician.

I would follow this situation up for sure somehow/someway.

you dont think it has to do with the brain do you like a clogged artery or something? Im 28 years old, very thin, dont smoke or do drugs and hardly ever drink. My blood pressure is normal and I dont have high chlorestrol. Just looking up things online (not always a good thing) and just ran past that.

Hey, keep us posted on your outcome.

I would guess this is either coming from your spine or inner ear.

I have been told that in your ears there is fliud to tell ur brain what way up you are . When you are in a ear and you get car sick this is because of the fluid. Simetime your ears muck up and statt feeling dizzy because of all fliud and you brain can tell which wat up you are

I hope it does just "go away" and I hope it is NOT any inner ear issue because they usually just don't "go away and stay away."

As of right now I dont have any insurance so an MRI or anything is out of the question. I figured it would just go away and i was thinking it could be inner ear still I just may need the fluid drained.

I would rule out anything inner ear going on.

Any imaging of your cervical spine done?  i.e. MRI
