PAROTID TUMOR

My husband felt a firm kind of oval lump behind his ear. Went to doctor who stated it felt like a cyst Due to myself having lots of nursing knowledge I asked if it was located on his parotid gland, the doctor stated no which I believed it was.
Went for an ultrasound and report stated this below ultrasound show mass in left parotid measuring 1.7x1.0x1.7cm. It is hypoechoic but does show some internal echoes. The margins are well defined but irregular in outline. There is no internal vascularity. This could well respresent a pleomorphic adenoma. A CT scan of the parotid is recommended for further assessment. Due to my medical knowledge I understand most of these tumors are bengin in the parotid. But he is due to have FNA next few days, and I am wondering does a pleomorphic adenoma feature internal echoes? Could you please clarifiy.I am stressing Thanks Kindly
