Pain, swelling and change in taste of food

My ears started to feel stuffed about a week ago and I had some swelling around the jaw area. I am currently having pain in the area of my ear and jaw and it can ocassionally extend down my neck and into my shoulder area. About three days ago any food I ate began to have a bitter or metallic taste. Any ideas??

I just had an appointment today with the ENT, she says my ears are perfect, no blockage, no hearing loss- but i told i have this plugged feeling and aching- she told me to go to the dentist and have my jaw looked at- it could be grinding, clenching, or jaw alignment. I know the feeling and it will drive you crazy.. hope maybe that points you in the right direction.
