Persistent sore throat

by Mh360, Apr 18, 2009 09:17PM
I started having a sore throat in the end of January 2009.  I thought it was just a regular cold at first, but the sore throat has not gone away after 3 months.  The soreness gets better and worse time to time.  I also have slight vaginal irritation that gets better and worse just like the sore throat.  About a month ago, I noticed two white patches on my right tonsil.  One went away, but the other one is still there.  I have been tested for bacterial infection and strep throat and the results were negative.  Could anyone provide any infomation on what the cause of my sore throat might be?

Thank you
