Phantom Smell

I have been smelling a sickly sweet odor that nobody else can smell. It started when I was 12 or 13, lasted a few months and disappeared but it came back two days ago (now I am 22) and it is stronger than ever!

It was constant yesterday but comes and goes now. I am not addicted to anything and I do not have bad breath (mouthwash has no effect on it).

Please tell me how to fix this! (And tell me how it started in the first place)

people who usualy smell something,usualy a burning smell,,,end up with a tumor on there pituatary gland....this is a common symptom of a brain /patuatary glad tumor.

I'm not sure if you believe in the paranormal...but you could have Clairalience..where you can smell things that aren't on this 'plane'.
Or you could just have a sinus infection.
