Post Nasal Drip

I had a small sinus infection about a month and a half ago, cleared its self up in 4 or so days.  Since then I have had PND.  The mucus doesnt go down my throat and make me cough b/c it is thick.  Instead, it is just getting stuck where my nasal passage meets my throat.  I keep sucking it down and spitting it out.  My throat isnt sore just alittle irritated by all the activity.

For about 3 days now I have done nothing but drink hot tea, put a hot pack on my onose a couple times a day, and use a sinus rinse.  Just wondering if anyone knows how long till this PND goes away?  I have read a couple things that say that doing this for 10 days to 2 weeks should help out.

Also, I sleep with a humidifier, so I really dont have PND in the morning.  But it gets progressively worse when I leave the house.  I live in the DC area and pollen, grasses, and mold are up right now due to the fact we havent had a good rain in awhile, could this be a causes aswell?

Please HELP!!!

Same thing has happened to me.  I had a nodule in one of my sinuses.  Also, had about 3 sinus infections a year.  Doctor said sinus surgery was the next step.  A dietician suggested that I quit dairy products (milk, ice-cream, yogurt...).  IT WORKED!  Every time a snitch a little dairy, all my symptoms come back.  My husband, had vertigo; he quit dairy and it's worked for him too.  I think many people have allergies to dairy and don't know it.

JUST AN UPDATE!!!

I was laying in bed last night, and rolled over kinda suddenly.  When I did, it was just like my left nosrtil and nasal passage just opened up.  I had thin clear mucus slowly come out for a couple of minutes and it felt awesome.  It was almost as if there was a seal that had been broken.  Im hoping all this **** I am doing caused it and maybe the right nasal will open up soon.
