Problem with ear irrigation

I went to the doctor 2 days ago for sinusitus.  While there, they noticed I had large amount of wax in 1 ear and had the nurse irrigate my ear with water/peroxide.  She used warm solution, but it made me very dizzy for 1 minute and was very painful.  I had no problems with the ear b4 the procedure, but the irrigation seems to have blocked my ear.  The wax came out, and the doctor checked and said the ear looked fine, but it feels blocked, and hearing is slightly muffled.  Has anyone else had a similar problem?
