Recovery after a polyp operation
I had a polyp operation in last week of may and I was feeling very well. I went to work after 3 days and used my voice excessively (I lecture too). My voice went hoarse again, and since then I have not yet recurperated my voice back. I am attending speech therapy and was feeling well but I had a severe sinus and lost my voice again. I was having some medicinals too, like steroids (very small dose) and some antibiotics, because after tan endescopy in the throat, the doctor found nothing serious but severe inflamation where the polyp was removed. I still cannot talk now. I suspected that I might have LPR reflux and have been given some medicianls and to be fair, although I still feel some throat tightening , it has lessend a lot.I want to know whether this is normal, or whether I have to do something else.
