Right lymph node biopsy

Has anyone ever had a needle biopsy by ultrasound? I am having mine done this wednesday and I am very afraid. Sick for some time and hoping for answers but afraid of how I am going to get those answers. Just wanted to know what I am in for. Will it be painful?

I have never had one myself, but I have taken care of patients who have. Most have described it as being more of a discomfort vs. pain. Some complained of mild pain afterwards.

Thank you. They didnt end up doing it. Something they saw in the ultrasound changed their minds. They said their is a mass and they dont know what it is and to call the surgeon tommorow. I do appretiate your response. thank you so much.

Mild pain for 3 days. Wasnt bad. Glad its done. Get th results on feb.2nd. Thank you again
