Rihgt ear drainage and pus

I am having a recurring ear drainage and pus on my right ear only.  The last time I visited an ear specialist, he gave me “Triamcinolone Acetonide Ointment” which I use whenever the symptoms begins; (almost once a month) although, the ointment helps get rid of the pus and drainage, I am worried about the implication of such frequent recurrence. I have no other pain associated with this symptom except for the pus, should I worry and seek further medical treatment?
