I had my tonsils taken out a year ago April, and for about two months now I've had ALOT of pain when swallowing. I went to my ENT Dr. yesterday and he mentioned that I have scar tissue building up, and its creating a gully where food and gods knows what else is collecting, and seems to be causing ulcers. So I am most likely going to need surgery AGAIN to remedy this.
My question here is does anyone know if this is common? or did my Dr. botch my surgery?
BTW: having ur tonsils taken out during adulthood is...HORRIBLE.... I was out of work for TWO months, and wasnt able to eat properly for about 4 months. So you can imagine why the idea of more surgery is not making me happy.
