Severe Headaches and Reoccurring Chronic Ear Infections

My family is in a desperate search for an answer for relief for my grandmother's suffering.  She had been having, for almost a full year, severe headaches and reoccuring chronic ear infections that would cripple her with pain.  She is one tough woman and for this to bring her to her knees, even with pain killers, is disheartening.  For almost the past year she has been alternating different pain relievers, including vicodin, to dull her pain every 3-4 hours.  She said that the pain would radiate from deep within her ears and pull down through her jaws, neck and back up through the back of her head to her brow bones.  Ontop of those symptoms, she is currently controlling an unexplained inflammation of the lungs daily with an inhaler.  Recently,  she has shown signs of asymmetry in her face where her right side droops lower than the left and her muscles are slightly weaker (stroke has been ruled out).  She has also complained of her gums and jaw bones hurting.  The ENT is hesitant to diagnose her with mastoiditis for she is showing the same symptoms in both ears which he claims is uncommon and can potentially be something else that is causing her to have constant reoccurring chronic ear infections and her headaches.  She has been switching through different antibiotics both oral and drops but they worked to no avail. Temporal Artritis has been ruled out for the headaches along with and any immune deficiencies or allergies that may be contributing to her ear infections.  We have seen several specialist and noone can diagnose her.  Please, if anyone can help us we would be so grateful.
