Sharp stabbing ear pain

I am a 29 year old male. A few days ago my inner ear started hurting and has since gotten worse. It is a very sharp, painful stabbing pain that comes and goes. It also hurts really bad when I take a drink of something really hot or really cold. The outside of my ear is now tender to the touch. It also hurts when I burp. Yesterday the top, right side of my head became tender to the touch and I'm unsure if they are related. The pain on my scalp makes it difficult for me to even lay my head on a pillow. I was feeling overall ill yesterday but it only lasted several hours. I have also noticed mucus deep in my throat when I wake up that is difficult to get out. I have been pretty concered especially since my scalpt starting hurting because ive been reading on temporal artreritis.

Time to see a doctor, you'll not get any quick fixes here.  You symptoms sound serious to me.
