Sore throat?

About 3 weeks ago, I noticed my throat was kinda dry. My nose has also been kinda stuffy, on and off. Not runny, just stuffy, like an allergy/sinus. I looked at my throat and noticed that the back of my mouth (I think thats the tonsils) are red, some days its worse than others. I thought it could be mono but I dont have any other symptoms. I know some STDs show symptoms of a sore throat but I dont think its that either, and I dont have anything on the inside of my mouth. I dont have a fever, swollen lymph glands, fatigue, cough, headache...nothing! It just wont go away. I went in for something else and I told my Doc about a week after it started and he didnt think anything of it. I know sore throats shouldnt last this long, thats why Im thinking it could be something else. Any ideas?

I forgot to add, the only other thing that started about this time has been a cramping feeling in my belly, like menstral cramps but obviously not. Same feel as them but located a bit higher, on and off. With this a slight lose of appitite, still hungry but not eating as much all the time, but I dont think anything of that. Could be related to the dry throat, doesnt have to be.
