Squelchy ears at night and when lying down

I am on Pantoprazole which helps my acid reflux, but am concerned as to why at night and until 1 hour after rising my ears are VERY squelchy when pressed, plus I have worse tinnitus as well. Also skin either side of nose gets very greasy at night and smells "off" .
I am getting a lot of mucus( well I think is mucus) dripping down throat and my sinuses are blocked often.  Is it possible the eustachian tube is blocked ? I also occasionally get a musty type of smell from no apparent external source so may be my sinuses are infected with fungus (I was in house infected with aspergillus (aspergillosis) for a time before all these probs blew up 3 years ago. My the way the first thing I noticed BEFORE all this started was a very sharp pain when I drank a cup of coffee as if I have swallowed a needle (I had been to the dentish hours previously) .I have never had such problems before.
