Strange taste in mouth

I have had a strange taste in my mouth for 4 days  Not sure of the origin. Can someone please direct me to what could be causing this.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Altered taste sensation could be due to nasal and sinus problems, such as allergies, sinusitis or nasal polyps. Certain medications, including beta blockers and angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors can cause your symptoms. Sometimes tooth decay or poor dental hygiene and cigarette smoking can cause this sensation. If it persists, please consult your primary care physician for further evaluation.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
