I can't find ANY indication that you have given up Gluten.  Did you try that?  I have read many of your notes - and I have to say - GIVE UP GLUTEN!

Hi, thought I would jot you a quick note, about your TSH level.
I have had high numbers for the last 12 years...  
At the diagnosis my TSH was at 127.00 and had to fight like mad to get it lowered.  The biggest problem I had was severe exhaustion, and depression....  
My TSH has been at 16.49 for the past 2 years, with no budging.  
The hardest part of this whole battle is that I am allegic to synthroid, levothyroxine, PD thyroid....  so for now I take the pills with allergy meds, to keep the hives from taking over.

Health wise, with having such high numbers, is exhaustion, irritability, mood swings, cold all the time...  and for awhile there I had trouble with my heart because of the uncontrolled thyroid.  
I have seen many specialists over the years, and I can tell you that high numbers do not mean cancer.  
You should go seen an endocrinologist, and get it checked out.  For 99% of the population, its as simple as one little pill each day.  
You can help your thyroid by eating dark green veggies, and fish (especially salmon), and salt your food with iodized salt.

On MedHelp there is a (forum - discussion) group for people with thyroid problems such as you have.  They would be better equipped to answer your question.   "Thyroid Disorders".  The forum you are currently asking the question through is all about the general region but nothing to do with the thyroid.  Please ask your question to that other group.

THS or TSH?  and, Is the decimal in the right place?  My TSH highest number was 4.4 and the range for good numbers is 0.3 to 4.9.  Your 11.5 is far far far too high so I have to ask, is the decimal in the right place?  Check in to the "Thyroid Disorders" forum here on MedHelp to get more information on what TSH is and how it works on the body.

  If you did not make a typo and did mean to type out THS, then everything I just said means nothing.
