Throat Swelling

My wife has a throat swelling( the swelling is so intensive that she feels like she can't  swallow saliva) , and she also suffers throat pain, and headache when the pain is very intense, and some times she feels like she can't breathe ( like if there's no oxygen in the air ) . I have taken her already to local doctors but they don't seem to know what's goin on. Please if anybody knows a cure let me know as soon as possible, I will appriciate, thank you.

Im having the same symptoms as your wife the whole left side of my neck hurts me really bad and my throat is very sore and hurts when i swollow sometimes  and my neck seems to be solen too, my dr said he doubts its a throat cancer and is more convinced its a thryoid problem and i have been reffered to an ent specialist ask your gp to make an ent (ear nose throat) refferral to sort out your wifes problems hope thats helpfull Haze xxx
