Throat and sinus pain but sinus is clear??

Please help shed some light....
I've been suffering for 2 years with a pain in my lower left throat (or trachea) it comes and goes in intensity. When it is bad i also have sinus pain, headaches and body aches and need to spend up to a week in bed till it subsides. Physical exertion makes it much worse, but i only need to go for a 15 minute walk to feel horrible.  It feels akin to an infection but multiple courses of antibiotics where of no avail. I've had every test you can think of under the sun and they have come up negative. CT scans of my sinus and throat show nothing at all but the pain is always there. I've been to so many different doctors and natural therapists and the only one of them came up with something. An iridologist told me i had a fungal infection in my trachea and gave me pau d'arco, i also went on an anti-fungal diet to help it along but STILL no improvement........ if anyone can help me with this it would save me.... literally.

You sound like me except younger (Most people are). I've had this curse for years and years and it makes life unbearable.Makes you feel completely 'stuffed'. I went to an ENT specialist on the Gold Coast where I live and he put a little tube up my nose into my sinuses and looked and said I had 'chronic inflammatory sinus disease" - in other words it all looked red and inflamed. Been to the doc again this week with a bad bout and the throat thing apparently is where the inflammation starts. I had all the tests and scans imaginable and they all showed nothing but he saw what was wrong. Can't fix it, but now I know what it is. When he did the tube thing I didn't feel a thing so don't worry if you get it done; its completely comfortable. I have concluded that it's an environmental allergy caused by all our native flora, but don't really know. Try that and see how you get on.(West Coast for Premiers)
