Tinnitus getting worse over 5 months

Dear all,

I am 36 and from Singapore.

I had tinnitus since I was about 13 or 14 after an infection in both ears. But the ringing sound, though constant was very soft and I thus am not bothered.

My right ear started to feel blocked/full in late March this year. I suspect its due to an ear infection in the right ear, although my ENT specialist did not think so and since then the the condition has deteriorated to both ears. My ENT specialist thought its due to a blocked nose. I underwent an RTR, administered nasal and steroid sprays, went for  acupuncture and even took TCM medicine over this period. None of the measures help.

Worse, I now have feeling of blocked ears and INCREASED tinnitus.

I suspect my feeling of blocked ears and louder tinnitus is due to one or a combination of the following causes:
- Infection in right ear in late Mar
- Sinusitus
- Chronic blocked ears which start from the right and then spread to the left (Is there such a thing as chronic blocked ears of 5 months or more?? But I definitely felt that way)


I am getting mood swings and feel depressed. I would appreciate advise from whoever can help to alleviate my condition.
