Tonsil Lump?

As shown in the picture, its seems like I have a lump/ulcer or something on my left tonsil.  Don't really experience any pain,  occasional it feels like theres a lump back there somewhere, it comes and goes really really fast, like gone in a couple of seconds, and I do experience this sensation on both sides. For the past 6 months or so, I have been getting tonsil stones on each side, they started appearing on both tonsils at the same time.  Should I go to an ENT and have them look at this or just my GP?

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Tonsil stones, are formed when trapped debris hardens, or calcifies. This tends to occur most often in people who suffer from chronic inflammation in their tonsils or repeated bouts of tonsillitis. It can be managed conservatively with salt water gargles and antibiotics. If symptoms are severe, then tonsillectomy may be the choice of therapy. I would suggest you consult an ENT specialist.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
