Tonsil..Help

Dear All

Last week I was at my dentist and after that I found that there was a hole in my tonsil and a white thing was coming out of it..So I went to the doctor and he gave me antibiotica. After three days the hole was still there but the white stuff left but the other tonsil started having the white thing.. So after 6 days.. on my one tonsil the hole is there and on the other is a small white stuff.

I was reading that this can turn into a serious issue
could you please guide me? How dangerous is it? how long does it take to recover if I take antibioteca? Will that hole close again? Is it a must to remove?
