Vocal chord Nodules

I was diagnosed with what seemed to be a non-malignant vocal chord nodule thirteen years ago. A biopsy was not performed nor any follow ups because of a change in my living situation and being as I was 8 at the time I didn't know until recently that it was never followed up on.

I also suffer from a dysfunction of the belch reflux, I often have pressure in my chest followed by growling noises from my throat accompanied by the fact that I have never burped. Over the last year or so I have acquired tinnitus in my right ear. I am not trying to make laundry list of minor problems but given that I have an extensive family history of cancer, I am worried about the possibility of laryngeal cancer.

If anyone can offer any information on the subject, or on my symptoms it would be greatly appreciated. Should I be worried about this?
