What do you guys think this is?

Okay so I'm always the health freak that gets worried over ANYTHING soo a couple weeks ago I was feeling my neck to take my pulse for the heck of it and on the left side of my neck I felt this little thing that when I touch it it moves and then goes back to wherever the heck it is. I don't have it on the other side of my neck and I think it's just ODD. It's really little and I have no idea what it could be. I've looked up stuff on the internet and couldn't find anything plus my sister works for a throat doctor and she felt it and said it's nothing. *not a cyst, goiter, or whatever else there is* but I don't know..it's just weird! It's like the size of a navy bean or something. Anyone have ANY idea what Im talking bout? lol

that is either a lymph node or a cyst, trust me i have the same thing, i have had it for years, if it is lymph nodes you could have a bacterial infection or some type of infection, but since it's been there for awhile probably a cyst who knows

i don't know for sure but i think i have something similar. Mines on the right side of my neck about half way down, sometimes i can feel it and if i leave it alone it dissappears. I have never felt it on the left side.

You have many glands, nodes etc all around your body and touching them alot can bring them up.

If you notice when a doctor feels your neck to check for enlarged ones, they hardly touch you at all, so if you've had it for as long as you can remember i wouldn't worry too much, i've stopped worrying about mine.

If you are bothered by it, a quick check by a doctor should put you right.

eh I don't know.

I forgot to mention that it's about the size of a navy bean. anyone have this? I heard it's harmless *from someone else* but I just want to make sure. I've just recently became more aware of it.

If you have had it forever and have no other symptoms then why are you worried?

I don't think it's a lymph node because I know where my lymph nodes are, but the thing im talking about has been there forever but I just got worried about it all of a sudden.

This is a lymph node. Lymph nodes will swell up to when fighting an infection. They also will swell with other issues.
If I were you, I would keep an eye on it. Avoid touching it all of the time. Check on it once, twice a week very lightly. If it starts to get larger you will need to have a doctor look at it. It is probably nothing.
