What is causing my daughter's haedaches and facial pain?

by katokailyn, Jul 14, 2009 01:46PM
My fifteen year old daughter had her tonsils out in January and her twelve year molars out in February. The foul smelling breath following those procedures has never gone away. She is very sensitive to touch all along her forehead and checkbone area. She had a sinus infection and was put on antibiotics. The symptoms improved but after the antibiotics went away, she was right back with the same symptoms.I thought it was still her sinuses but our ENT did a cat scan and said it was all clear. What exactly does a cat scan show? Does it show only a blockage or does it show a bad infection? In addition to this, she has a dibilitating headache that never goes away. She is now complaining of ear pain, dizziness and losses her balance if she gets up quickly. Please help shed some light on what might be going on. She is scheduled to see a neurologist this week about her headaches. I am not sure if these symptoms are related or not.
